CHAPTER ONE:
Ever wondered why you were so different from everyone else? Do you have poor memory? If you answered yes, there is a good chance your a mystic. Mystics are people born from just regular people. Except there is a twist. The child is the one with the hard life, the snooty classmates, and possibly lived another life. Yeah, many people it’s just fiction. Its real I’m telling you.
I’m Ellie Ren. The first time i found out i was a Mystic was when i was 11, a few months ago. Before i knew that i was special, i lived a hard life. Betrayal, sadness, anger, frustration…. this list can go on forever. I have a little sister (Lilly’s the name) and i knew she was my major problem. She threw things at me, clawed me, and even sometimes made me do things i never really planned to do. Being a mystic is fun (superbly fun) but it comes with a gift. The gift is living a hard life. I just recently understood my gift. It was betrayal. But nevermind that, it’s knowing that you’re not the only one out there with a hard life.
I met this guy named Jeff at school. He’s really nice and he’s a senior mystic. Cool, huh? He’s lived for about 2 lifes and he has a really poor memory like me. His life is hard too. We talked and chatted, answering some questions about each other and other things.
“How’s your sister like?” Jeff asks.
“Oh, she’s a monster.” I replied with no hesitation.
“Nice.” He’d say then probably throw a rock or something.
“Someone has to be the bossy one, eh?” I said. Half joking.
He’d laugh and say “Yeah.” I’d smile and bite my lip trying to hide my rare smiles.
It always made me feel better to joke around.
CHAPTER TWO:
Life lessons. That’s what you learn. No selfish person is ever going to NOT come in your way. It’s like when you order chicken nuggets then you find out they weren’t cooked. That’s happened to me before. When you find a life lessons, you usually think it’s something to remember in the future then you go to your DS or Play station or whatever then totally space out on the lesson. Which is a complete failure, because you’ll keep trying to remember and then you play some Super Mario Bros or whatever then once again, space out. So never ever forget the fact to remember things. Write it down on flashcards or something then practice them over and over again. Another choice is to remember it naturally, it takes more time than the flash card strategy but you remember the lesson more efficiently. No video games or watching T.V. 15 hours a day if using this strategy!
No there aren’t “protectors” as part of being a mystic. The only thing you have to protect yourself is a witty sibling with awesome punching, pinching, clawing, tripping moves. If you don;t have one (which there is a good chance that you won’t have a sibling in your future) you’ll have to learn some moves by yourself. Tip: Reading is a good way to help, read the Harry Potter books first, then the Warriors cats second , then the Seekers bears third. It worked for me.
CHAPTER THREE:
At school one day i saw Jeff, sitting on an old purple bench that the school put out in the field for the students. He was either tieing his shoe or doing something else (Note to self: Tell parents i need new glasses). It was really hard for me to see. I decided to leave him there to whatever he was doing. I took out my cell phone and checked the time, it was 7:56 a.m.. “The bell will ring any second now,” I muttered under my breath. A second later it rang, i saw Jeff getting up and getting his back pack then walking like any other bored teen to the school.
I started walking just like him, i mean why run when you can walk? All the other kids started rushing and running. I simply rolled my eyes.
